This is driving me crazy trying to fix it!! I'm not a computer genius, so please keep any answer relatively simple for me please. The only 3rd party security software I have is Norton. Has anyone had this issue and found a way to get around it? The reason I think it's the Norton software causing this issue is because while I was trying to open an Epson Installer program also downloaded, it told me that the software was blocked by 3rd party security software. Really? I thought as it's my personal laptop I would be the administrator!! I've tried various ways to get around this issue mentioned on the internet, but to no success. It also says, "An administrator has blocked you from using this app". "This app has been blocked for your protection". However when I've tried to do this, all I get is a pop up window stating Epson advised that they no longer manufacture the CD drivers for this printer and recommended that I downloaded an "Inbox driver" from their website on to my laptop to allow me to use the printer from it. I have already installed Norton 360 on to this laptop. I want to load the driver on to a new laptop I recently bought with Windows 10. I have an old Epson R300 Stylus Photo printer which I have foolishly mislaid the CD printer driver that came with it.
